Senior Staff Hire Requirements
Qualifications:
1.Good communication skills - typical Anderson profile.
2.Has worked with Decision Support (DSS&EIS) and/or Data Warehousing (DW).
3.Has developed an application(s) using a DSS tool(s). i.e. Cognos,
Oracle Express, Pilot, Business Objects,
Metaphor, Commander.
Preferably more than 1 DSS tool.
Has been involved in or done data modeling.
Problem solver - ability to analyze situation and make proposals
for resolution.
Knows the concept of gathering requirements fom clients.
Is familiar with processes within different business units in a
corporation.
Knows the difference between multi-dimensional and relational.
Has done some DBA work or has worked closely with a DBA.
WILLING TO TRAVEL
Desired Qualifications
1.Has worked some consulting experience. Internal or external.
2.Has worked on a project plan and understands the necessity behind them.
3.Has been involved in a data warehouse project from beginning to
end. Is familiar with a data warehousing
methodology or practice.
Has been involved with setting up application security.
Has an overall understanding of the development project life cycle.
