tax deducted from monthly salaries of around 300 employees of
BCSS, comprising of the followings :

7 Controlling parameters, rates, slabs, percentages etc. as per
income tax of India, keeping in view the fact that these get
changed every year with the finance act coming into force.

7 Processing of master data for computing TDS via a specially
developed module pool.
7 Auto generation of periodical reports , statutory forms &
statements, certificate etc. using abap/4.

7 This software product has been developed using sap
development
tools for in house use of the Birla Consultancy Software
Services(BCSS).
it intends to provide processing of monthly payroll of about 300
employees
of BCSS located at various branches.
7 Its special features includes, automatic tax computation,
arear processing, accumulation of yearly data for individual
employees,
blocking individual salary processing, mass change procedure for
employee
master database, simulation facility etc.
