Why does sap consultant get bigger pay rate?

Hello,
I am wondering why sap professionals get much higher pay rate (typically
$80-$120) than other type developers, such C++, VB, of which $50/hr will be
consider good?
Is it because of that sap people require much higher skill or because of
law of supplies and demanding?
