POSITION/TITLE : Software/Programmer Analyst
LOCATION : Western NY
SALARY : 35K - 65K
DURATION : full time position
REQUIREMENTS: General Ledger, DEC/VAX, VMS, DCL, COBOL, Oracle, SQR,
SQL
PROJECT/DESCRIPTION : Our client in Western NY State is looking to
hire several full-time employees. - General Ledger experience is a
plus, but more important is PeopleSoft. IBM and JCL experience is a
plus, but not necessary because of conversion away from mainframe.
COMMENTS Employee is responsible for ongoing support and
maintenance of all applications. Initially they will be involved in
project development efforts that are underway, so that they can learn
with the expectation that they will support it (maintaining
interfaces, making enhancements, managing change management to
applications as well as infrastructure, second level support to the
help line to the end user problems). Get to know the entire client
server environment so that they can trouble shoot problems more
efficiently.
