Title: Senior Informix Support Analyst
Location: Orlando, Florida
Description: The Senior Support analyst will provide on call database
administration support for production applications referencing
Informix On-Line 7.x technology. This position required first hand
support experience with large scale (100gb+), mission critical
production. Experience conducting performance analysis and tuning
Informix On-Line databases is required. Experience establishing
production support procedures is needed including designing tape
backup and restoration. Strong troubleshooting experience is required
to recover and return systems to production.
Experience with supporting and configuring TCP/IP connections on Unix
servers in a strong plus. Experience writing data conversion routines
would be a plus. This position may also provide logical database
design to application projects on a time available basis. The
successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment.
Hourly Rate/Salary: Based on skills and experience.
Duration: Immediate till December 96' (Assignment could possibly
be extended to a year)
Preferably A U.S. Citizen, Canadian Citizen, or Permanent U.S.
