Please post more information about your buisiness, your no. of users per module etc.
and i will figure out some 'sizings' for your installation.

middle: SUN Server (Ultra Sparc)
middle: SNI with MIPS
middle: HP K400(2) with PA_RISC
slower: NT-Server (Compaq/SNI e.g.) with only 2 Pentium 90
slower: HP E55
slower: IBM RS 6000 with Power Proc.
