Try this :
- create a material master with material type PROD for each product group
(material type PROD should be already in your system, otherwise create
it)
- I agree : normally the system creates a MMR in the background for you as
soon as you create a product group
- it may have different reason why your system is not doing this
I am really interested what you find out ..
