I love the content of this mailing list (I have been a subscriber for about
three years), but I am getting a bit fed up.
Why is it that requests to unsubscribe that are sent to s-news-request
appear to have no effect? Others have complained about this in the past,
but the problem remains. As I have changed jobs I have dutifully sent
subscribe messages (new email account) and unsubsribe messages (old email
account) to s-news-request. The unsubscribe messages have been ignored, so
I now receive *three* copies of every posting!
Since (at least some) mail to s-news-request seems to be redirected to
/dev/null, I am resorting to a posting to s-news. Can someone *please*
look into this? Thanks,
