I'm delighted to have Martin Maechler & Guy Nason's kde2d
function for estimating a 2-D density surface. I would like to
go one step further and plot the minimum-area density
contour that includes a given fraction of the density (50%,
95%). Can anyone point me to a tidy way of finding this
contour level?
