Several years ago I looked at several emacs-like programs for windows.
They were all classy editors with some emacs key strike combinations.
I didn't see any at that time that could run an inferior shell process from
inside one of their windows, or that had features that would allow one window
to talk to another.  Since those are the features that I consider important,
not the editor keystroke options, I did not look further.
