Apologies if similar questions have appeared, I am new
to the net.
I am using xyplot to create conditioning plots and am
calling panel.superpose twice to plot two different factor
groupings. I see how the superpose.symbol list can be copied
with the trellis.par.get to see what the current settings are
but I DON'T understand how to change the current settings so that
they are used in my panel displays.
I want to use different pch symbols (change the superpose.symbol$pch
list) for each factor group in the first call to panel.superpose.
I then want to use a single line type to join points belonging to a
second factor grouping in the second call to panel.superpose. This
second factor has a large number of factor groupings therefore I
also need to change the length of the superpose.line list (if I
interpret the error message correctly).
Any helpful suggestions appreciated.
