Perhaps this is common knowledge and perhaps these were in S+ 4.5.
Regardless, I usually turn off the Tip of the Day window that comes up
every time I start an application, like S+2000, or Word or ..., since I
tend to retain details only when I need and use them. But, I decided to
leave that window active for awhile in S+2000. Good thing I did, becuase
I'd have otherwise missed out on some laughs. For example: "The
difference bewteen a statistician and a computer scientist is that when
the statistician has a good idea he writes a paper, when the computer
scientist has a good idea she starts a company."

"All of Meteorology is divided into three parts: Yes, No and Maybe. The
greatest of these is Maybe." -- The original Latin appears to be garbled.
