I am using Splus4.5 for Windows.

I have a matrix A which I want to solve using the following equation

A\SigmaA^{T}=/\ (in Latex style)

\Sigma is 5x5, so is /\, both are known and A is unknown and must
be solved. Problem exists in this unknown matrix A. The error
message is

Error in .Fortran(if(!cmplx) "dqr" els..: subroutine dqr: 25
missing value(s) in argument 1
Dumped

My question:

How can I solve for A, tried to use the "solve" command but am
having trouble due to A being unknown (there are many solve
functions i cannot seem to locate the proper one.

Any help appreciated.
TIA.

Ley.
