Statistical Analyst Positions Available
The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is seeking highly
motivated individuals with biostatistics/programming expertise in supporting
cancer research. Requirements include a Master's degree in biostatistics,
statistics, or related field and at least one year of experience in
programming and statistical analysis, preferably in an academic and/or
biomedical environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly
oncology, is preferred.
Proficiency in S-PLUS, SAS, Fortran, C or similar packages, with knowledge
of Windows and/or UNIX operating systems is required. Also, knowledge of
numerical and statistical methods is needed. The successful candidate will
be responsible for supporting the conduct, design and analysis of clinical
trials as well as statistical methodology research.
