Hello,
In our econometric environment we have to face the following decision.
Gauss is insufficiently modernized and has to be replaced sooner or later.
Ox seems to be an interesting candidate since it has several econometric
toolboxes.
S-plus is more widely used in the statistical world, and it has some beautiful
graphic possibilities,
but it is unclear to us to what extent it is used by econometricians.
Who could provide us the desired information?

Teun Kloek, Dept of econometrics,
Erasmus University, Rotterdam, NL.
