Hi !!
I am using Version 3.4 (soon 5) on SunOS 5.3. I am doing
some generalized additive model analysis and outputs the
results into a txt file (I am using the BATCH mode).
I would like to have an indication of convergence (or
more interesting, of non-convergence) in my output. I
know there is a message printed in the log when
convergence is not attained but I need to have it
in the output. I will perform many analysis from
which the results will be extracted all automatically
from the txt file. The number of iteration does
not seem to be an indication since I have had results
of non convergence and the number of iterations
was 5 or 6. There is always the fact of almost
infinite confidence intervals but that way I might
be missing some. In short, is there a way of sending
the message sent to the log in my output file ???
