Original Question:

I installed S+ 2000 on the E drive of an NT
workstation. Some one that I work with, took the D
drive from the machine, so the E drive is now the
D drive, and the F drive is now the E drive.
I changed all the environment variables, S_HOME,
SHOME in the environment tab on the system application,
in the Control Panel folder. But I still get an messagewhen I start S+:
The path found for s_proj 'e:\sp2000\users\Administrator'
does not contain folders '_Data' and/or '_Prefs' for project
related files. Specify ...I then have to manually change the path from e:...
to d:...Where is this information saved and how do I edit it?

Solution:

run regedit
click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
click on Software
click on Mathsoft
click on S-PLUS 2000
click on paths

Thanks to Prof Brian Ripley for pointing me in the
correct direction
