Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the maximum line-width is Splus 5.0 unix?
Here is the associated error:
> openData("frames.400x6000",rowsToRead=1,type="ASCII")
Problem in openOrImportData(file, type, rowsToRead, ..: Problem opening file: frames.400x6000.
Use traceback() to see the call stack
Maximum line width (8192) exceeded in ASCII file
The offending line was 150236 bytes long.
Please set the maximum higher than this on the Options Screen and try again. (file frames.400x6000).
