I've been exploring data by creating s scatter plot with B-spline. The
graphics look OK on screen but when I print them (either from S-PLUS or
cut-and-paste into Word97 and print) the printed version reveals the
scatter points connected by lines. These lines are not visible on screen
so why do they print? How can I suppress the lines between points and
just have the scatter with spline line print?
