Greetings S-users/-abusers (a .edu and yet still courteous! *tongue in cheek*)

I have a surface generated using persp(). The z axis has a range -50 to 10
and I want to increase the visibility of the surface at the 0 value for z.
I would like to do this by putting a plane through the z-axis at the 0
value. Is this possible?

Any other thoughts/methods for increasing visibility on a persp() appreciated.

Cheers -Jon
