Two objects, actually, __sum4.txt and __sum4i.txt. Deleting those
before (re-)starting S-PLUS usually works.

save _Prefs somewhere, delete it and start S-PLUS up again, accept
the path with missing _Prefs. Reset the rest of your prefs.
MathSoft: there must be a more precise solution (delete just
one file in _Prefs?): could you tell us.
[This has never happened to me in 4.5 or 2000, but happens to our students
in 4.5 frequently, several times per week amongst 30 students. Perhaps by
now someone knows why....]
