Status of the PDB Prototype
In the last few days, I tried to put up a prototype for the new look of the
PDB. The prototype is up on gypsy.mit.edu. To access it go to:

Please take note :
- Contact is the former implementor field, which is now the project leader.
Because this field had other meaning before, it was not filled for most of the
projects. I will do my best to fill in values for this field but people in
charge with different projects will have to check and correct the field.
- Targe date is the scheduled end of the project.
- In the column Home it appears the Home Page of the project, if the project
has a home page among the documents of the project.
- The practice directors were always part of the PDB. Practice directors,
Process directors, few maintainers have super priviledges in PDB. This was
always the case. Because the priviledges (acls) were implemented in few stages
in rather strange ways, this part of the PDB may have bugs. At this point
I kept all the features and the bugs of the old implementation. I intend to
keep fixing all bugs that I hear of.
- I added to processes : CG and ABST .
Please use the PDB prototype and let me know if there are any problems, bugs,
miss-intrepretations, parts that are not intuitive.
