Could the top page (the table listing projects) include a column with
the home page or project notebook entry in a clickable format? E.g. Home Page
the suggestion came up at a recent meeting. One of the problems may be that
people have entered URLs either as home page or project notebook
inconsistently. There is also a question of how wide the table will grow.
Instead of putting the actual URL, we thought it might be better to put
"home page" or "project notebook" for the display.
We also discussed the desirability of having a standard template or
guidelines for what should be in the top page referenced from the project
database.
Questions:
1. How difficult is this technically?
2. If we want to have guidelines for the top page, who is going to write
them up and how will they be publicized?
