project modification questions

1. an attempt to modify the Windows NT on the Desktop project yielded the
following system response:
Scheme Error
Unbound variable: old_goal
I can't seem to get around this issue.
2. the current project modification pages I am seeing state the last
modification as the _original_ date the project was entered into the
database, and by the same person. This is curious because I find lots of
evidence that modifications have been made very recently by my co-project
leader.
3. last week I tried to modify the MCC restructuring project and could not
get a "modification successful" response, but today all the modifications I
made are there...but listed as having been done on the date the project
_originally_ was entered.
Am I doing something wrong or making bad assumptions about what I should be
seeing? Thanks for any help you can offer.
