This in from Lee Ridgeway.
Looks like Arachne's server certificate expired.
Could whoever knows how to fix this correct the situation.

(note: Miki is at USENIX NT training through this week.)

Subject: arachne?

Bill -- I was trying to get to the Discovery Project database and got
the following message:

>>
arachne.mit.edu is a site that uses encryption to protect transmitted
information. However the digital Certificate that identifies
this site has expired. This may be because the certificate has
actually expired, or because the date on your computer is wrong.

The certificate expires on Wed Aug 13, 1997.

Your computer's date is set to Wed Aug 13, 1997. If this date is
incorrect, then you should reset the date on your computer.

You may continue or cancel this connection.
>>

Clicking the Continue buttons on the screens got me to one with info
about arachne, and it looks like _its_ certificate has expired!
