You are listed as the project/team leader for one or more projects in the
IS Project Database (http://web.mit.edu/teamhtml/Athena/pdb-howto.html).
I'm writing on behalf of the Project DB Service Team to inform you of
recent changes in the Project DB Service that you might find useful.
The Project DB now facilitates the production of the Quarterly Reports that
deal with project accomplishments and goals. Specifically:
1. Two new fields were added to project information, namely, "current quarter
achievements" and "next quarter goal."
2. These fields can be modified by authorized users, i.e., project leaders and
process owners, by accessing the Modify This Project form.
3. These fields' contents will now appear on any query that fetches the basic
project information, e.g.,
https://arachne.mit.edu/pdb/db.cgi/pdb.pdb_user.show_project_by_id?projid=25

. These two database fields have been initialized with the value NONE.
5. This is a stopgap modification to the Vers. 1 data schema/UE, and
there is no compilation or history of quarterly accomplishments/goals
maintained. These two fields contain a snapshot of the "last three months"
and the "next three months."
6. The main page https://arachne.mit.edu/pdb/db.cgi/pdb.pdb_user.frontpage now
has a new button: QReport. Accessing the QReport button will produce a
display report of all projects with their Current Quarterly Achievements
followed by all projects and their Next Quarterly Goals.
7. To get a Quarterly Report for only those projects in a given process,
use a URL like:
https://arachne.mit.edu/pdb/db.cgi/pdb.pdb_user.show_quarterly_process?process=d
elivery (or integration...service.. support...discovery).
We are working with the maintainers of process Web sites to have such
queries added to their pages.
