I've been dealing with a number of developers at UMich and none of them
have mentioned "AFS Kerberos" to me.
Transarc ships their own kerberos server with afs. As far as I know, the
only difference that clients see is that the string-to-key is different. We
usually modify clients to try both versions of string-to-key, or to just use
the afs version.
