We've developed a preliminary version of the Kerberos libraries and DES
libraries for OS/2 2.x. The question of the naming conventions for these
libraries has now come up, and I was hoping someone here could provide some
insights.
What I currently have set up is the following naming scheme, which does have
some problems.
deslib.lib - DES library for DOS and Windows
desos2.lib - DES library for OS/2
krblib.lib - Kerberos static library for DOS (large model)
krbdll.lib - Kerberos DLL Import library for Windows
krbdll.dll - Kerberos DLL for Windows
krbos2.lib - Kerberos DLL Import library for OS/2
krbos2.dll - Kerberos DLL for OS/2
The Kerberos DLL for OS/2 has a pretty much identical interface to Kerberos
for Windows. Does anyone object to these names or have better suggestions?
