To: pc-kerberos@MIT.EDU, gnu@cygnus.com, jcm@cygnus.com, smlieu@cygnus.com Date: Fri, 20 May 1994 02:00:42 -0700 From: John Gilmore <gnu@cygnus.com> I have the Cygnus kerberos source tree building the DES and KRB libraries, and a minimal version of kinit, from the common source tree. Configuration and a small part of the build still happens on Unix. The kinit scaffolding is running in a QuickWin environment for debugging. The libraries aren't DLL's yet, just ordinary libraries. Kinit sends out a request packet, but isn't yet receiving the response. Ticket storage has been dummied out at the moment. There's no GUI. This bear is dancing despite the same source tree continuing to compile on a bunch of Unixes. It's almost readable, too, and a lot cleaner than it was a month ago. The Mac port is almost linking kinit, too, though it's a few days out of sync with this source tree. I expect to have test versions for the hardy available within a few weeks, with kinder, gentler versions to follow. Let me know if you'd like a copy and at what point. John
