The LP MA has three weeks left to get ballot access signatures.

Could all of those people who had offered their help PLEASE
SEND ME E-MAIL. I want to arrange times to give you the
petitions and then collect them when you have finished.

The idea is for each of you to go out for a few hours on a Sat.
or Sun. down to the mall or a store somewhere.

I belive the offer of $.60 ($.70) a name still exists for anyone
wanting to spend some full time hours doing this while the
drive continues.

UPDATE:

We've got 7500 sigs so far for the party slate. We need
about 15,000 (10,000 offical, there is usually a certain
	percentage of faulty ones though).

OTHER BALLOT NEWS:

LOTS OF GOOD BALLOT QUESTIONS IN MA THIS ELECTION!!
(think about registering to vote here!)

#4 - Term Limits VOTE YES!! and we will be the 16th state in the
term limits vanguard. Though the courts have challenged
the federal provisions (still unresolved) it may well be
binding on the state level. At a minimum it would lend
credence to the movement to have so many states on board
(if a federal constitutional amendment is needed, the only
way its going to happen is by the request of the states)

#9 - Anti-Rent-Control VOTE YES!! and we will greatly impair if
not revoke the ability of all MA cities and towns from
imposing rent control. This one was close, but it made it
onto the ballot. Now is the time to support property rights!

#6 - Grad Tax VOTE NO!! This is a STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
parallel to the 16th US constitutional amendment. They
originators are trying to bill it as a tax cut "for most
of us" and it is -- for the first year. Remember of course
that when they passed the 16th it was only .1% on the rich
and they claimed that income taxes would never go about 10%
	or the people would revolt.

So remember: "Go 4 it, nix 6, and 9 is fine!!"

P.S. These recommendations are not necessarily those of the MIT
Libertarians, but they damn well should be if they are not ;)
