There is perhaps a better list to engage in this kind of wide
open political debate. The name of that list is: politics@mit.edu
which we set up with some people from the "progressive" student
organization. The libertarians list is likely to be rather one
sided with you the only socialist/progressive and a host of others
waiting to tear your economics apart.
To be added to the politics@mit.edu list, send a request to
politics-request@mit.edu, or to mjacknis@mit.edu.
The libertarians list is primarily for discussing libertarianism.
However, if you have critiques of libertarianism that you wish
to discuss then by all means proceed on the libertarians list.
