Well, Peter Everett, the LP candidate for Secretary of State got over
70,000 votes statewide. Our candidate for Auditor (Geoff Weil) got something
roughly close to that (Everett had 4% of total, while Weil got 3% of total
both in statewide races). So I'd have been outdone by a long shot even
if I grabbed all 9k blanks.
But in terms of percentage of the vote, perhaps. On the other hand, I'm
not exactly sure I would have enjoyed the publicity, at least not now.
