Until there is insurance reform (and I mean REAL reform) in Mass we will not see
the repeal of the seat belt laws.  As it stands now we are all joined at the the
auto insurance hip.  I think that zeroing in on the insurance laws is the better
way of liberating you and I from Big Brother statutes like the Seat Belt Law.

On Q3, MassPIRG made it a complete red herring.  Lots of demagoguery about
trampled rights and evil corporations "out-to-get-us-ism" but n'er a word of
truth or fact.  I tried to get flyers up around campus but Student Life shot me
down as I had no recognized organization to sponsor the message.  If we're
interested in checking PIRGs misuse of school bureaucracy to finance its
political mission then we have to get them completely off student tuition bills.
Simply moving their sawbuck from "waivable" to "optional" ain't much of a
change.
