I read an article about the same town in yesterday's globe in which it
indicated that the school spending limits were not the problem. Instead,
the town ran a deficit during the previous fiscal year and the residents,
in a prop. 2.5 over-ride refused to pay the money necessary to keep open
non-essential services like libraries and senior citizen's centers.
Nothing anti-libertarian went on. The townsfolk simply found out that if
government sponsored services go away if government money goes away.
Quite a concept, don't you think?
