Everett was the Libertarian Party candidate for Secretary of State
and IMHO the best chance at getting us ballot status in this state.
I think the requirement is 3% so if his 4% holds up, we've got it.
This is important, one for saving us $10,000 in the next election
(the cost of a ballot access drive) and two, because we will be
able to pick a candidate at a July convention and still be on
the ballot in 1996. July is when all the stuff is happening, and
we can seem more timely.
