I forgot to mention that I recently visited a friend of mine
in California who attends Stanford. We were friends through academic
and social activities and had never talked about politics. I happened
to mention my involvement with the MIT Libertarians, and he said,
"Really? I'm a member of the Stanford Libertarian Group." Yes!!!!! :-)

Unfortunately, their group does almost nothing. Apparently the
guy who started the group later changed his mind and decided he wasn't
a Libertarian after all. According to my friend, the last OPH quiz
given at Stanford showed that most Stanford students scored very
authoritarian. Sigh.
