We will be watching Vernon's LP videotape (description below)
in 6-120 at 6PM on Tuesday July 12. After watching the tapes, we will
probably havea short meeting to discuss any possible summer activities
and also start planning our booth for the Activities Midway. If you
have any questions, send email to damartin@mtl.mit.edu.

Description of tape:
"Tape 17" from the LP Washington (Tom Isenberg to libernetters).
Ayn Rand - interview on some "one on one Charlie Rose type show"
from the 60's or 70's. It's about 30 minutes, and I
haven't even had the chance to watch all of it myself.
I can't remember the name of the show but its something
like "In Focus" and the interviewer is some old guy with
Brittish mannerisms/accent.
Tamara Clark - One of the national LP's "communications" people (I don't
recall the title) and 45% vote getter for state senate in
Nevada. (She's running again too). The show is <gasp>
GERALDO and she is one of many panelists on the Drug War
topic. A good handling of a very hostile crowd. 15 mins
approx. If you've never actually seen Geraldo, this is
enlightening.
There are some other bits on here as well (a half hour or so of Tom's
appearance on a local interview show, something I've forgotten at the
moment, and I think one of the national LP TV ads.) The total tape runs
two hours.
