Did you catch Sen. from Colo. talking with Rush L.? He echoed my
comments the other day re the frightening trend of our government to
employ the military as a leftest political tool, and with reference to
using them against civilians. That along with the inertia to disarm
America is becoming a real serious threat to our populace.
Want another fright? Think of the descriptions by our government
of the conditions in Haiti which they used to justify the invasion -
Government and military abuses of the population. Picture of the bodies
of civilians and religeous leaders in the streets.
CONSIDER. What if another strong country (e.g. Russia, China,
Iraq, etc.) were to use the scenes of Waco, where the government
unleashed the military to run roughshod over their civil rights, and
mass-murdered civilians and religeous leaders - shouldn't they by
similar logic invade the United States to re-establish democracy?

If nobody stops them at Randy Weaver's, they'll escalate their
escapades. "Well, they deserved it".
If nobody stops them at Waco, they'll escalate their escapades.
"Well, they deserved it".
If nobody stops them at Haiti, they'll escalate their escapades.
"Well, they deserved it".
If nobody stops them at (Cleveland?), ... "Hey, wait a minute,
MY FAMILY LIVES THERE!"
        TOO LATE!

The pattern of what is happening in America is chillingly similar to
Nazi Germany in the early thirties (substitute words like "defectives,
Jews, neighboring countries all over Europe, Russia, and the world in
the above). The history lesson, that the growth of oppressive government
must be early and decisively stifled is still lost on us. The
differences between governments may be little more than magnitude and
timing.

- Charlie Miller
