I gave Tim a revised version of the Layered Athena report. Thanks to
feedback from our last layer meeting, it should be useful to educate
DCNSm about what we've learned.

Tim wrote,

>My plan is to distribute the report on the 11th, and schedule a
>discussion of it *PERHAPS* for the 18th, but that's dependent
>on whether there will be a full quorum of DCNSm available that
>day.

I would like to list more members of the layer team as coauthors. The
version I gave Tim only has my name on it because I'm the only one who's
seen the it in its current form, and I have a policy of not putting
other people's names on documents they haven't read and approved of.

I would like to list everyone who gave feedback on the document at the
most recent meeting (jjmorey, kcunning, nschmidt), plus carla, who was a
key part of our learning on support issues. Anyone else?

To print out the document,

   attach layerdev
   lpr /mit/layerdev/doc/report.ps

The timeline we came up with at the meeting became somewhat more
complicated, because all the information from my pointing and saying,
"this happens here" had to be captured.

Please read the document and think about whether it would be worth
meeting to discuss further revisions. If not, please send me feedback
in email.
