yes, I agree. fixing this is on the list of things to do.
The main reason for having them separate at the moment is to insure that no
improper cross-dependencies creep in while we develop stuff.
-los should fold into -lkrb5
-lcrc32 should fold into ???
-lmd4 should fold into the same one that -lcrc32 goes into
-lkdb may want to remain separate
-ldes425 and -lkrb425 should remain separate; they are compatibility frobs
which programmers should invoke explicity.
