I've put in some locking code in the stdio and file ccaches, and briefly tested the file ccache (the stdio one is untested in general, not just in the locking code). You can recompile at your leisure in lib/ccache/; just be sure that if you recompile the file ccache, that you do a make depend first (a structure size changed).
