tytso: moving slower than initially expected, due to other time
commitments and the learning curve. "With any luck,
it [kprop/propd] will be ready by next week; hopefully, my
estimate will be more accurate this time around."
jfc: is examining GSS code; disk failures interfered with his time
commitments (his PS/2 AIX hat is high priority). will probably
have some working sample clients (most likely on v4 gss
interface) next week.
raeburn:
stdio ccache coded & somewhat debugged; "seems to work". Could
use some better sanity checking; doesn't zero out file when
destroying.
hasn't yet looked into rcache thread stuff (partly due to no
thread environment to do real testing...)
prb: v4/v5 glue library is coded; he can link stuff and is debugging
the sample/simple clients
don: v4 kdc compatibility coded and in midst of a desk-check.
on-line debugging to start soon. some concerns about
performance of various kerberos routines; profiling & metering will
probably be in order.
jon: more looking around at admin stuff; considering retrofit of
existing admin server core code, with a network interface of
ASN.1 encodings of database entries & such.
bcn: (guesstimated report) work proceeding on protocol draft, next
review version ready ?next week?
