Subject: GSSAPI interface implementation
Alex,
John Kohl called me yesterday and we discussed the work you've done on
the GSSAPI. His suggestion for the best way to proceed would be for you to
send him electronically everything we've got on the GSSAPI including your
specification and the bindings themselves. John will look that stuff over and
get back to you with any questions. If necessary I will set up a meeting for
us to go down to Cambridge and talk about it.
John also said that they have a version of Kerberos V5 that's just
about ready to go out for field test and if we would be interested in getting
that version and testing the GSSAPI on it that would be helpful to him. I'd
like to think about that and get some feedback from Bill Brown and John
Williams about that idea. But in the meantime, Alex, please send what you've
got to John. His address is on the CC list for this message.
