Where I work we do a lot of custom software that includes writing
applications that I would love to have Kerberos as an authentication for.
Unfortunately, a lot of the work that we do includes the use of threads on
a few unixes and NT. We are building applications from the same source.
I am fully aware of what the issues are in that department and what a pain
it can be.

In case people are interested, yesterday a few people from my department
met with reps from Microsoft. One of the questions that I posed to them
was if people with an existing MIT KDC were going to be able to use it
with NT 5. I *should* get an answer back from them about it.
