There are many details yet to fill in, but there *will* be a party on
September 6 to celebrate the expiration of the Diffie-Hellman patent,
somewhere at MIT (probably in the AI lab).
Unless some rich benefactor steps forward (hint, hint), this will be
an early afternoon party with light snacks; please do not come
expecting to feed yourself for the day.
I'm not sure how many people will show up. I'm using 100 as an
initial figure, but it's very hard to estimate. Please let me know if
you want to attend.
(Also let me know if you want to chip in (at least $100) for the
catering. And people with experience in organizing such things should
definitely let me know.)
