Greetings,

We use Kerberos here at Baylor. We have clients deployed on both Macs
and PCs. One of our biggest user problems is that on Windows 95
clients, the user must set that TZ parameter in the autoexec.bat file.
The confusion stems from the fact that Win95 has a control panel which
stores the user's time zone. If people from out of our time zone try to
authenticate, they usually get a time out of bounds error and send us an
angry email that our stuff doesn't work!

Anyway, my suggestion is... It would be very beneficial for us to have a
rev of the krbv4win.dll that uses the Windows 95 date and time settings
rather than the dos shell variable. Windows 95 users should not have to
"raise the hood" and deal with setting shell parameters in DOS. They
should ony have to set their D&T control panel in Windows 95. Can you
provide any comments or shed any light on this?

Thanks a bunch
