My apologies for not getting back to you sooner; I've unfortunately been
fairly swamped lately.

We are currently developing a new software package for our users here at
the University which would allow them to use Kerberos 5 in combination with
   Qualcomm's Eudora.

I'm assuming it would be wise to wait for at least the 1.0 patchlevel 1
release if not for v1.1 - but we'd also like to get permission to include
it within our installation so as to streamline the process for our
   end users.

1.0 Patchlevel 1 was released two months ago. See our web page at

	http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/www

for more details.

No permission is needed to include Kerberos within your installation.
See the copyright permission notice for more details; it's pretty
straight forward.

So in short, we wanted your opinion on which patchlevel/release to wait for
before including it in our package (kerberos service here is already setup)
   - and additionally, wanted to make sure you didn't have a problem with us
including this recommend patchlevel/release under our own installer.

Go ahead and use 1.0 patchlevel 1. It should be quite stable.
