We are currently developing a new software package for our users here at
the University which would allow them to use Kerberos 5 in combination with
Qualcomm's Eudora.
I'm assuming it would be wise to wait for at least the 1.0 patchlevel 1
release if not for v1.1 - but we'd also like to get permission to include
it within our installation so as to streamline the process for our end users.
It would be for the exclusive use of the students, staff, and faculty of
the University of California, San Diego - and we could easily get signed
waivers stating that the cryto would only be used within the US (to satisfy
the feds) -
So in short, we wanted your opinion on which patchlevel/release to wait for
before including it in our package (kerberos service here is already setup)
- and additionally, wanted to make sure you didn't have a problem with us
including this recommend patchlevel/release under our own installer.
and no rush on this...we've still got a few months before the next
scheduled release of our software package.
