I cannot speak officially for release plans. However, I can accurately
state what work has been done since the 1.0 alpha snapshot for NT.

The primary focus of our work has been to try to build a single source
tree that will accomodate Win32, Win16, and Unix. To that extent, we
believe we are mostly there. Some time has also been invested to solve
some of the issues raised in using the libraries in mixed compiler
environments and in the exported API in the DLL.

There has been little effort invested in GINA or the GSS sample. At
this point, however, the GSS sample does pop up a dialog box, but it is
unclear if the sample code actually works (I have encountered a hostname
resolution problem only under Win32).

I have asked Ted if we can cut another patch release soon, but we first
have to contend with integrating the NT efforts back into the mainline
sources.

I hope this answers your questions.
