Is the MIT Kerberos development team a member of (or considering
joining) the Key Recovery Alliance in order to be able to export the
Kerberos VrR1 w/ DES CBC crypto functions? This is per the 01Jan1997
announcement from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce
(http://www.jya.com/eartoc.htm). I'm asking because we're working on
providing Kerberos V5R1 run-time support on the IBM OS/390 platform, as
well as upgrading the OS/390 Security Server to provide Krb V5R1 server
functions. Thanks.
